To celebrate my mother’s birthday last February, we went on a trip to Ilocos Region, from which she hailed. This trip was not just a gift for her, but for dad and the family as a whole. 🩵

We went to a hidden gem up north: Pannzian Resort, located in Brgy Pancian, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte. This is a 34-hectare beach property, with rich vegetation, including a farm of vegetables and fruit-bearing trees (mulberries, yum!) and stream flowing out to sea.

It’s a short trip, considering the road trip involved. But the whole time the family’s together, was the most precious aspect of the trip, regardless of our comfort.
